Tours are 1.5 hours. The boat, a 24 foot Berkshire pontoon, leaves from our dock, which is a 5 minute walk from the Inn. The captain will take you through the channel to Squam lake on a relaxing tour of all that this special body of water has to offer. A popular nesting area for loons, guests are likely to spot them diving and calling to one another. There are often bald eagle sightings as well, so keep a lookout. Our captains are a wealth of knowledge and love to share their passion for nature and history. Guests are invited to bring food, beer, wine, or other beverage of choice, relax and experience the beauty of the lake and surrounding mountains.
Guests are welcome to bring a cooler. Tours may be cancelled if fewer than 4 guests sign up or in the event of inclement weather. In such cases payment will be refunded in full.
Please park at the Inn and see the front desk to sign a waiver and to get directions to the dock.
